This policy applies to direct procurement only. It does not extend to tier-two or downstream suppliers where Safety Nation Pty Ltd does not have reasonable influence.

Social procurement
The practice of considering social value factors in procurement decisions alongside cost, quality, and risk, where relevant and proportionate.
Material spend
Procurement expenditure assessed internally as material having regard to value, risk, and operational importance.
Supplier
Any third party providing goods or services directly to Safety Nation Pty Ltd.
5. Principles
Safety Nation Pty Ltd’s approach to social procurement is guided by the following principles:
• Proportionality: Procurement practices are aligned to the company’s size, risk exposure, and capacity.
• Compliance: All procurement activities comply with applicable laws, including the Modern Slavery Act 2018 (Cth) where relevant.

6. Governance and Accountability
• The Board notes oversight of this policy as part of its general governance responsibilities.

No additional committees or governance bodies are established under this policy.
7. Operational Requirements
Safety Nation Pty Ltd will, where appropriate and proportionate:
• Consider ethical sourcing practices when selecting suppliers for material spend.
• Undertake reasonable checks to confirm that suppliers operate in compliance with applicable Australian laws.
• Respond to customer or tender-related requests for information regarding social procurement practices using available internal records and reasonable estimates.
The company does not maintain a standalone social procurement system and relies on existing business records, procurement documentation, and supplier information to support responses.
8. Supplier Expectations
Safety Nation Pty Ltd expects suppliers to:
• Comply with all applicable Australian laws and regulations, including those relating to labour standards and modern slavery.
• Provide information reasonably requested to support customer or tender due diligence.
Supplier compliance with modern slavery legislation is expected as a matter of legal obligation. Safety Nation Pty Ltd does not impose additional contractual social procurement requirements beyond statutory compliance.
9. Measurement and Reporting
• Safety Nation Pty Ltd does not currently track quantitative social procurement metrics.
• Information relating to procurement practices may be collated on an ad hoc basis to respond to customer, EOI, or tender reporting requests.
• Reporting, where provided, is descriptive in nature and based on available internal information.
No public reporting commitments are made under this policy.
10. Continuous Improvement
Safety Nation Pty Ltd acknowledges that its social procurement practices may evolve over time in response to changes in:
